The Story Behind the Bread

I’m Nella, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a wife, a mom, and the heart behind Nella’s Daily Bread. This little business was born from my testimony, my love for Jesus, and my love for baking. But as it has grown, I’ve realized that my heart for it goes much deeper than the bread itself. My desire is to create sparks of curiosity about the Lord in individuals and families. I want every package to become a meaningful opportunity to pause, ask questions, and think more deeply about who God is.
Whether you’ve followed Jesus for years, are simply curious about faith, or aren’t sure what you believe, you are welcome here. My hope is that every package is received in love and can reveal the love of Christ for you.
The Scriptures on each package are there with purpose. My hope is to share their context, meaning, and everyday application so that each product can open the door to eye-opening conversations about God’s character and His Word. This can look like a child asking about the verses or simply reading them aloud to their friends and family. Or maybe a gift reminds someone of a truth about God they needed in that moment.
As a mother myself, I especially encourage those with children in their lives to explore our Kingdom Kids Collection with them. Read the Scriptures and messages on the packaging together, invite the children in your life to ask questions, and let those little moments become opportunities to talk about who God is and what His Word means in their lives. I believe it is especially important for parents to recognize that their family is their first ministry, and my hope is that these products can help nurture that truth in your home.
Since baking is my passion, every recipe has also been thoughtfully developed through testing, trial and error, and lots of care until it felt worthy of sharing with you and your family. From the ingredients to the flavors, names, Scriptures, and messages, each detail has been chosen intentionally. I am also happy to announce that the Lord has placed many more ideas for this bakery on my heart, so with time, you will see more exciting products to explore. I certainly hope these products are as fun and meaningful for you to explore as they were for me to create.
My hope is that every package does more than bring something delicious to the table. I hope it creates moments of connection—with God, with His Word, and with one another!
